I haven't written a journal for ages. So much has happened, and yet so little...
Let me see... I visited Cairns (Australia) for 3 weeks over the Spring Holidays. It was really nice to go back to my hometown again. I hadn't been back there since I was nine! I love Cairns (except the heat!); the beautiful lush forests, the beaches, the gorgeous creeks - but the forests most of all. I love the peacefulness they radiate. I was really sad to go. We really don't have any beautiful rainforests or creeks in Brisbane. *sigh*
I celebrated my first Halloween this year! XD So fun! We decorated the whole yard at my friend's house - spiderwebs, blood-splatters, you name it! I even carved a pumpkin on my own! We were going to do apple-bobbing but that sounded boring so we did apple-bobbing in green slime!!! It was gross! I got the slime all in my hair and on my face and up my nose and in my eyes... yuck! And then it dried and I couldn't get it off! But it was so fun! And we had so much food left over! Including a couple of 'severed finger' biscuits! XD
And the other day I went to a Britney Spears concert with mum coz we won tickets to it. I didn't expect it to be that great but it was fantastic! Britney Spears really went all out for this tour! Very dramatic with lots of circus acts and stuff. I really enjoyed it! Worst part though - trying to get out of the stupid carpark! *Shakes fist angrily* Hundreds upon hundreds of cars all trying to get out at the same time. It took us forty minutes to get out of the car park... Stupid Steve-M! Thought he was so good with his big black 4WD! Well we showed him!!!
Anyway, last day of school today... last day of grade 11... *sigh* I'm gonna miss school when I leave after grade 12. It seems so innocent...
Oh well, at least its the holidays - and Christmas soon too! XD
